These last years, we have attended several events organized by the Museum of New Caledonia. Intercultural exchanges between associations from all communities were the aim of these events. Based on dialogue and sharing, they attracted a family audience from all walks of life.
And it was with great pleasure that we took part in these events and went to play and dance in front of the Grande Case on the patio.
Thus, music festival 2017 was an opportunity for Gilles to introduce his stringe instrument making and his various traditional musical instruments made from local wood.
Music festival 2018 gave us the opportunity to dance several sets of Irish dances. We thank Judith and Conor (New Zealand champion of Irish dance for several years !!!) for teaching us choreographies. We also wish to thank the talented flute-player Lucie Périer and her big (hus) band Nicolas, who were passing through the region, as well as Bernard who played the bodhran to make us dance.
